The Liberator

About

50 years ago in September 1973, the Liberator published its first issue. Since then, whether branded the LBJ Liberator or the LASA Liberator, its dedicated staff and editors have been proud to deliver local, national, and LASA-centered news. Although the Liberator is a student-run newspaper for the Liberal Arts and Science Academy, it has gained national recognition and won numerous awards. Some of these include the Peacemaker (the Pulitzer Prize of high school journalism), the Gold Crown Press Association, and 2005 First Place Best in Show given by the National Scholastic Press Association.

The Liberator publishes four full issues and two mini issues a year, each written and edited by the Liberator crew during the production cycle. Full PDFs of past issues (Volumes 41-49) can be found by clicking here.
